I watched your video three times meanwhile, and it is obvious that you made everything the correct way. I don't really know why it is not working for you. Basically Avedesk seems to work on your machine. I have never tried it on a 64 bit computer.Only on five 32 bit machines and it worked on all of them. Maybe that's the reason. If you find the time and motivation, can you please check two things: Do you see a list of the desklets in the controlpanel of Avedesk? If yes please select one of them, click on properties than Style and change the style from icon to normal window and check if it appears. I'm really sorry for all the inconvienance you have.
Thanx my friend. Yepp it took me 3 or 4 hours to make this. But it is always better than answering a lot of questions. This no fast food customisation, and needs some explanation for not experienced users.
I don't know if it has advantages over Rainmeter, but i don't think so. I'm not familiar with Rainmeter, so i can't say to much. I've already used Avedesk for another deviation, and so i used it again because i was to lazy to learn something new (Rainmeter).
Ok that makes sense. I've never used Avedesk, but i was shocked that you were able to do things like scroll bars with it! (at the bottom of the startscreen to move across all the tiles). Also does the "search apps" function really work??
If you have the time watch the video on Youtube. There you can see how it works. The scrollbars don't scroll the screen. They are triggers to swich between the two screens. This means they fade out/in the tiles of the screens. I'm not sure what you mean with "search apps " function. There is nothing like that in this deviation. Please give me one more hint.
